    One of the ongoing conversations inside CGDC is the role (or not) of allegory when it comes to christians making games. Here is a delightful look at how J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis approached the question in the realm of literature and how that brought us the two deeply spiritual worlds of Middle Earth and Narnia 
  • Eurogamer: Gaming For God
    A well done article that brings up the recent history of Christians in gaming. The author offers a fair and balanced article. The comments...no so much. ;)
  • Harvard Business Review: Meaning is The New Money
     For a growing number of people, believers and non, the post-information age is driving them to seek deeper purpose in their work as opposed to just making more money. See how this broader trend is applicable to this matter of Christians working and thriving in the gaming industry.
  • Relevant: The Gospel of Video Games
    For a home-schooled boy growing up in the church, there is nothing more thrilling than to enter the 6th grade. Not only are you once and for all leaving the trappings of childhood behind, you are, in fact, gaining access to that most mysterious and alluring social circle, the church youth group. For the first time, you find yourself spending time with the coolest of the cool: high-schoolers. If they say something is cool, you’d better believe it’s pretty darn cool.

I just started a new Christian Game-blogging site, trying to bring attention to the work that other Christians are doing to engage the world of games.

In regards to the email I just got, here's a few things that might be worth adding:

So first of all, Owen Good at Kotaku did a whole feature on last year's conference, might be worth permalinking.  http://kotaku.com/5821259/christian-game-developers-want-to-leave-b... 
I see you already added Joshua Wise's site, The Cross and The Controller, might I also suggest adding Christ and Pop Culture? They have a video games section that is updated regularly with quality pieces, mainly from Drew Dixon, who also writes about video game for Relevant and Paste magazine. http://www.christandpopculture.com/category/games/

Also, and I realize that I'm risking ostracizing myself through shameless self-promotion, but I got an article up on Relevantmagazine.com  that's a quick look at how Christians are engaging games. http://www.relevantmagazine.com/culture/tech/blog/27704-the-gospel-...

Hi Jordan - Owen's CGDC article is posted on the News page, but that's perfect.

The others are well warranted. Tell me though, since I'm not familiar with Christ and Pop Culture, how would you categorize it? News? A Blog? Something else?

I figured you had probably seen that. :]

I would say CaPC is probably best described as a blog, just one with several contributors. Drew writes his weekly column "When Games Matter," but the site also regularly runs features from other authors.
