This group is for developers to announce significant news on projects they are working on. So shameless plugs are totally on-target.
But it's also for people looking to know what projects are out there in active production.

Hi GGDC - I wanted to announce Soma Games' next project Wind Up Robots. We're in the home stretch here and expect to start submitting the build to various app stores in the next week or two.
The games mini site is here: http://thatwinduprobotgame.com/
And here are a few screen shots to help set the mood.

Comment by Jon collins on December 28, 2011 at 1:19pm Shameless plug here for our great project now up on Kickstarter.
If you can contribute financially then that is fantastic we have lots of 'swag' as rewards.
If you can't donate you can still help get the word out to as many people as possible.
Please consider how you can be involved.
Either way it'll be great to have you onboard on this exciting adventure.

Comment by Lana Vaughan on December 28, 2011 at 3:37pm Already on it. Chris' FB message earlier sent me to look at it. I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops.
Comment by Chris Skaggs on January 11, 2012 at 10:36am Not clear if this will be our next project to launch, but it is something we're working on.
Our first game, G: Into The Rain was a gravity simulator puzzle game that has has surprisingly long legs. It's set in a world that is sort of Space Opera + Steampunk. The sequel, F:The Storm Riders, is in production but frankly a little back-burnered at the moment so I don't know when it'll be released. Set in the same world, and finally getting to my post, is a graphic novel called "And Also After"
We've produced am 8-page B&W teaser to get the thing rolling and I'll share that here. With so many publishing options out there right now we don't yet know how this will eventually be presented. Paper, motion comic, a mobile app...not sure. But I'd love to get some feedback on the content and art to this point.

Hey CGDC family
Here are some screenshots from a game we (Crawl Space Games) have been working on for quite a while now. The game is called Lumena and its our humble attempt at a deep meaningful game. Its a phsyics adventure game and its story is told through selected passages from Milton's epic poem Paradise Lost. The game will be in March for IOS and android devices.
Comment by Ian_Koratsky on January 13, 2012 at 11:16am nice! i don't think i've heard of a game based off that, plenty of material to work with though
Comment by LordYabo (Thomas Henshell) on January 31, 2012 at 1:49pm Hey all,
We've been working on this game for 2 years (we had some delays in the middle).
Today it finally finished review with Apple, so it is available in the app store!
I'm fortunate to have befriended a very talented artist in highschool. Good thing I waited until he finished college for classical animation to work with him!
Basically you use funny tools to distract the monkeys in the farmer's field, so he can catch em and take them out (through the gate at the top).
One of the story sequences where the monkeys recruit new kinds of friends to get at the farmer's potatoes!
You catch stars during the game and use them to buy upgrades and abilities. The upgrades are necessary for later levels when you have a lot of combinations of monkeys and the various immunities.
An important strategy is the type of tools you bring into each level
Hope you like it!
Comment by Matthew Wiljanen on February 9, 2012 at 9:21am I am currently working on a game design based on Noah and the time before the flood, right now it is a browser based game where you can move on a map and perform simple actions on the terrain such as gathering and searching, but right now it still quite early in design, but I have been working on the game for about 6 months, between graphics and programming. Here is a screenshot of my current work.
This is just a sample in-game, but I also have a facebook page dedicated to updates and screencasts in action!
The facebook page is:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Deluge/152212414850804
And a live play mode is at:
http://thedeluge.heliohost.org/thedeluge/index.py?session_id=7eccb6...
To move around you can use the arrows in the bottom right, or you can click on space you want Noah to move to, then you can click on the different animated buttons to perform an action.
Well this is what I have developed so far, I hope you enjoy!

Comment by Ronald Widjaja on March 12, 2012 at 9:13am Hello, everyone!
Nice to meet you, all! My name is Ronald Widjaja, an indie game developer from Indonesia here. :)
Right now, I wish to share a little bit on the project that is already been done but haven't got the chance to publish it into the public.
My game project is called "Cafe 316" which tell a story about a bartender named "John" who has to take care of his customers' problem by giving them the right food or drinks in order to make them more open to him.
The theme of the game is about "food & soul", in which I believe that sometimes a food or a drink can help to make people to become more relax and of course healthier. The game itself is a combination between a visual novel and a portable healthy cooking book. :)
Therefore, in this game, it is up to John to help his customers that actually representing the 7 deadly sins by giving them the right food and drink to help with their uneasiness or even just to make them feel comfortable and relaxed.
Right now, I'm interested to share this game demo with all of you here. But the problem now is I'm not sure on how can I give the game demo here. So anyways, I'll be more than happy to share the game with all of you here if I know the way to share it.
So yeah, that's the game that I made a year ago with my team and hopefully I can publish it soon for the iOS platform in God's time. (as my game musician used to say. :) )
