Mhhh could I ask what it the main purpose of the game?

Well I guess jumping and catching icons, but is there more?

Is that a normal webcam? Haha sorry for asking so much (would like to ask more ^^) but you dont have a description about your game ^^ just you jumping around haha xD looks neat (and like alot of work, I mean the jumping)

 

Could you maby describe more? I am interested in hearing this ^^

Hello everyone!

I'm looking for a ActionScript 3 coder/programmer to help develop for the iphone, ipad, ipod touch and/or facebook games.
I'm seeking a true believer Christian since the games we will be making will focus on Christian themes and living.
This is not a paid job, it's more of a freelance opportunity that can lead to possible payment.
But this can be a perfect side project for any ActionScript 3 coder.
If you are interested please let me know and also please post any requested clarifications in this thread so that my reply can benefit all.

Here is a list of game examples that fit within the various types we would develop:
Bad Apples by Metaversal Studios  (Bejeweled)
Millionaire City by Digital Chocolate  (Sim City)
Plants vs Zombies by Popcap  (Defense game)

There are enough people, not just kids, that play games.  It would be wonderful if we had more games that people could play that would help them memorize scripture, see many ways to reach out to people in need, and even be a tool to witness to others.

(THIS IS A REALLY POST DATED POST, BUT OH WELL) 

 

Hey guys, I actually am a software engineering student, but I love video games. I just created a game for a school project to give you some ideas of what I can do. I am still learning, but I really like doing this stuff. I do some modeling/animation/rigging/coding/art. I do a little of everything. I am uploading the game video on youtube now, but you guys can watch one I made for another school project (just animation and modeling video).

I am sorry the quality isn't so good on that. Like I said, I am still a young learner for both the modeling/animation/and game coding. (well all of it!) This is a great site though, I'd love to develop a game for the glory of God!

^^ AWESOME!!!

You are the 3 person I have met here that has such great Ideas to make a decent christian video game.

This is a great idea I love it... and oddly enough it is similar (or has alot of similar elements and how the story runs) to my story ^^

I dont have enough money to make such a game like this now, and working on a smaller game gets you to learn new things that will improve your skills later on...... I will send you a big plot on my future game and welll maybe you would like to work in a small group that is working on a moral game (not really a christian game, a game to gets the player thinking about true love) first.... and with success maybe in a few years of hard work, we might might make our dream come true to make a compelling but a great christian game that will change the thought of true Christianity and what is true love ^^

agreed. I would love to port some simpler but fun games. I am down with working in a group together. If you have ideas for a smaller, maybe 2d game, let me know. I will try to do what I can. If we can get some artists going, it would be great to.
