Hi, I don't want to sound rude, but I want to be forward.

 

No one is going to steal your game idea.

No one is going to "sell" you game concept to a company. Christian games are not profitable, chances are neither is yours.

Don't ever be afraid to share your "best" idea. There's always a better one around the corner. 

 

I am interested in hearing you ideas though and welcome you to share it with us.

Haha that's not rude and yes I understand but the problem is that this game concept is very profitable it is not just a christian game, its a game that speaks to normal video game players. I know that this game is a big budget game and this is more of a call for anyone who wants to help later on, this project is not going to start off right now... I don't want this concept to run around in the internet, since I maby won't even be part of the project anymore... This site is to start a small group and build up to a big budget game... So saying what my last and best project will be is being a bit naïve as well I guess I didn't write that properly and I am sorry :(

So no I won't tell my concept, but ideas are always good! And no I am not claiming that I have the BEST ideas every new thought changes a good concept to a great concept!

Mhh ok well I am working on some yt videos right now that explain some of the ideas and me writing down all my ideas would take a really long time. So let me ask you what do you want to hear? Gameplay or story? Or let me ask what is the first idea you think of when you hear christian and video games?

Interestingly enough, on Saturday of our conference there will be a panel called "Christian Gaming: Risks and Opportunities" with a bunch of people who've been active in the industry for a while. Chris Skaggs of Soma Games and Tim Emmerich of Graceworks Interactive will be two of the panel members. Check out the conference scedule for details on the others involved with that panel. Anthony, since I know you can't come, I have good news for you. Even though live streaming wasn't able to be worked out this year, they're planning on recording the sessions so people can watch them after the conference. :)

Very cool thank you for the info I really wish I could have been there! It would be great if I could see some of the converence! Mhhh interesting what were the risks and opportunities? Is it similar to what I have written? What else is riskful? Having killing and sins involved? If they want to produce a great christian game the rating will be M for mature since christianity is not only about love it is also about the dangers of lucifer! So without confronting the player with evil and the reasons why it is evil you can't make a good christian game since humans only understand Gods love when they understand lucifers hate! So either you start out with love than confront with evil and then with love again except that the love with feel even greater OR start out with evil and confront the player with unpleasent sins and then show them love... I would rather go with the love,evil, real love concept (this is not my whole concept •smile•) Or are they talking about costs, real faith, design, bible verses, containing bible stories or what else?

No, not this past Sat., this next Sat. The conference is July 7th -9th.
